Test Day Information

TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) is taken at a secure test center, where you will need to show your ID, check in with the test administrator, and sit your test in a secure room. You will have to:
Show an ETS-approved form of identification(ID) that contains a photograph and signature
Provide handwriting and signature samples
Have your photo taken. This will be displayed at your computer station and embedded into your paper score report.
Arrival time

Please arrive at the test center 30 minutes early. If you’re late, you will not be able to take the test.
How long is the test?

The entire test is given in half a day, unlike other tests that make you stay the full day or come back the second day. The total length of the test is 4 hours.
Identification (ID)

You will need to show an ETS-approved form of identification that contains a photograph and signature. To see what valid identification you can bring. If you are not testing in your country of citizenship, your ID must be a valid passport.

If you do not bring valid and acceptable ID, or if the name on your ID does not exactly match the name on your registration, you will not be permitted to test and your test fee will not be refunded.
What can I bring into the test room?
Valid passport or ID
What can’t I bring into the test room?
Digital devices (mobile phones, iPods, digital watches, etc.)
Analogue watch
Wallets and keys
Jackets, hoodies, scarves, gloves
Baseball caps, beanies, hats or hoods
Cases for pens or glasses
Pieces of paper
Highlighters, rulers and correction fluid
Food or drink of any kind
Valuables

Navitas English Test Centre (NETC) will provide a locker to store your belongings for the duration of your TOEFL iBT test; however, NETC is not responsible for any loss or damages. We highly recommend leaving valuables at home.
